Im trying to build a complete digital studio, what do i need?
I used to make digital music, but i want a track sequencer, a sampler, and good instruments (VST or DXi) to cap it off. What do you recommend me get now. (Software wise and hardware)
Sonar 2,3,4, 5 or 6 - recording software. It has track sequencer and some very nice VST instruments that come with it. It may have a sampler Wit it but i don't know, i never use the VST stuff.
2) You need a sound card that you will plug your mic into - Sound card = sound blaster Adigy se $50.00 to $100.00 . I recommend the you use a dynamic mic like the SHURE SM58 $100.00.
And this is a great start try to get sonar 5 its $300.00 but sonar home is $99.00.

Oh , to make sure you can record a lot of tracks, make sure you have a gig of ram on your computer, you can start with 256 or 512 of ram but you will have to run 1gig to do a lot of tracks with out drop out. anything eles email me zerro7@sbcglobal.net
