What is a dog breed that looks a lot like a fox or a coyote, colored like a husky, and is around 15lb.?
I saw a dog today who looked a lot like a coyote or a fox, and was quite small (maybe around 15lb?). She was colored kind of like a husky, and had some attributes of a husky, including one blue eye. She had pretty fluffy fur, and was extremely soft. Any ideas what she might have been? The owner was busy talking to someone so I didn't get to ask her!
It is definitely not a shiba, but that is a good suggestion. It's not a pom or any other 'poofy' dog like that. The closest suggestion I've seen so far is alaskan klee kai, but I don't think that's it. It really looked more like a coyote or fox, the only resemblance to a husky is that it was gray and white and had one blue eye. Other than that the shape was very fox or coyote like. I know it wasn't a mix, because i heard her tell someone it wasn't, right after she said the breed which I missed! Also, the tail wasn't curled up on it's body like a spitz.
