Mossberg 590 with wood stock and wood forearm?
Hello for my graduation present my dad is buying me a shotgun. I want to get a Mossberg 590 but i want it to have a classic look. I want to change it to a wood stock and wood forearm but the forearm has to be ribbed like the synthetic one. I would like to know if any one has done this and where i can find the stock and forearm that would fit the 590. a link to a pic would be helpful so i have an idea if it will look horrible or "classic"
It's called a corn cob forearm and yeppers, up until the type 2 forearm came about approx 20 years ago, it was the only one you could get.
The 500 parts all fit the 590.
