How important is appearence when looking for work.... lots of ansewers.?
My husband and I own a vinyl graphics company and he has been going out looking for jobs.
I've been telling him to shave and dress nice (or at least not in jeans and camo hunting jacket).
Do you think this affects our business. How should he dress?
I think polo shirt and nice pants are in line, along with a groomed appearence. I need some back-up on this one.
First impressions are #1 in job hunting. I tell people to dress as though they are going to an interview, when even dropping off resume or filling apps. He has to dress the part to get the job he wants!
